What interests me? Well people do. Humans are very interesting creatures - they act in the most amazing and odd ways. At some stage I really want to do some kind of course in pyschology so I can understand them better.

I have the usual standard interests that people have.

I like music...
My tastes are many, varied and probably considered my most of my friends as down right wierd. For a start, I like Aqua. Mentioning this (especially at RockSoc) usually results in everyone getting very riled up and rude about the kind of music I like. A variety of Rock/Heavy Metal bands line my CD collection - Queen, Metallica to name but a few. Then there is the wierd mushy romantic stuff (Belinda Carlisle) or the really disturbing stuff (Tori Amos).
The only thing I find wrong with my collection, is that it is too small. There are probably countless albums I want to buy, but I'm hopeless at associating tracks to artists. I often hear a song on the radio but never buy it because I don't know who it is by.
...and books...
Given that it can take nearly 1 and a half hours to get to work in the morning, I've got plenty of time to read. I've enjoyed reading books since I can remember and it one of the few things actively encouraged by my parents. The kinds of books I like reading are Sci-Fi and Fantasy books. I've never found horror to particular appeal and I don't bother with mainstream books unless someone recommends it. (If I feel particular enthusiatic, I may add a little "Currently reading" bit here - but more than likely I won't keep it up to date.)
...films...
I'd have to say that watching films is probably one of my favourite past-times. Having a job has opened up a whole world of possiblities, because not only do I have the funds to go the cinema as often as I'd like (which unfortunately I never seem to manage), but I can also amass a vast collection of films to watch at home.
If anyone wants to help me with that task, I have a wishlist at Things I Love which is a wishlist site I run for people I know and well just about anyone else who happens to stumble across it.

Computers feature heavily in my life (yes - it's possible to have one and use computers) too. Coding is something I really enjoy, despite having to do it for work.

I'm also fairly involved with my old Uni and I'm still a member of a couple of the student societies. Most notable IFIS, GameSoc and Historical Re-enactment
